Important Information for Maxmind MinFraud Users

If you are a StoreSecured merchant who is using the MaxMind Minfraud system please note that MaxMind will be discontinuing the use of the old Score field at the end of this year in favor of the newer Risk Score.  If you have not already done so please set your Risk Score rejection score within your store setup.  Note that the Risk Score has been present in our system for many years but most of our merchants are not yet using it.

Go to General–>Payments–>Fraud Control

Under the field Reject Risk Scores >= set your rejection score

Under the field Reject Fraud Scores >= set your score to 11 (to disregard)

Hit Save

Then go to your Maxmind account and make sure you are setup to use version 1.2

If you are not already using Maxmind I highly recommend it.  For only a few dollars a month it can help you decide the probability that an order is fraudulent.

New Feature: Inventory Search Report

A new report is now available to show the searches that customers are requesting.

 

Go to Inventory–>Reports–>Inventory Searches

Search by date range to see the number of searches performed during that time frame.  A search phrase can be added to limit the report to only show searches matching a particular word, phrase etc.

 

Important note:

Search information captured BEFORE 6/16/2013 will show all searches even if the same search is immediately done again by the same user.  Starting 6/16/2013 the search will only capture unique searches per ip address over a 10 minute period.  In other words, if a user inputs the same search over and over again it will now only be captured once per 10 minute period.

Mail Server Downtime

June 15, 2013

The StoreSecured mail server was down from approximately 3:45am to 4:45 am PST Saturday morning.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.  Our team was immediately alerted that an error occurred in our .NET install after a routine Windows update and it was repaired.  Any email that was missed during this downtime will automatically be delivered shortly.

All mail services are now operating as normal as of 4:45am PST.  All other services, ie ftp, stores, manage etc ran as normal during the email trouble and were not impacted.
