Manage Server Unreachable 3:20pm PST

The manage server, ie is currently unreachable.   All stores, sites and other services are operating as normal.  We are in contact with our host Rackspace currently to determine what is happening and get it corrected as soon as possible.  We expect restoration of the manage service very shortly.   We have no further information at this time.

Update 3:39pm PST–Service Restored

Service to the manage server is now restored following a power cycle to the server.  We experienced a downtime of approximately 20 minutes for the back end management service only.  Please note that during this downtime for the manage server all stores continued to operate as normal with no downtime.

Scheduled Maintenance Friday 8/17

This Friday night 8/17/2012 at 11:30pm PST there will be a scheduled downtime of approximately 1-2 hours.  This downtime will affect ALL StoreSecured services EXCEPT email.  We will be upgrading our network hardware including the load balancer and firewall to support IPv6.

If you attempt to view your store, the admin interface, our sales website or connect to ftp during this time you will receive an error.  Please note that this maintenance requires an upgrade to the network hardware that connects all of our servers to the internet.  This means that all servers will be physically offline and therefore unreachable.  All services will be restored as soon as the new network hardware is put in place.

One Step Checkout Beta Available

We are happy to announce that the long awaited one step checkout functionality is now available for beta use.

To enable one step checkout visit General–>Checkout Settings

Check the box labeled Enable One Step Checkout

If the check box is grayed out it will tell you why you are unable to use this functionality and how to correct it.  Please note that there are several conditions that must be satisfied currently in order to use this new functionality:

  1. The store must use only 1 shipping location
  2. The store must be using the new shipping methods
  3. The store must not allow multi-shipment, ie shipping items to different locations on a single order
