New Features Available – Special offers, user defined fields and new warnings

1) Special Offers Default

Functionality is now available for merchants to change the default value for the special offers check box to on or off depending on your store preference.   To change the default please visit General–>Login Settings and refer to the setting Special Offers Default.

2) User Defined Fields Display

Functionality is now available for merchants to change the default display for user defined fields.  User defined fields were previously always displayed in a single row on top of one another.  They can now be changed to display in 2 columns with the field name on the left and the field name on the right.  To change the default please visit General–>Item Settings and refer to the setting UDF Display.

3) FTP Password Strength Warning

A check has been added to automatically review the stores default ftp password and if it does not meet the password strength requirements a warning will be displayed asking to have the ftp password updated.  Please note that the ftp password is different from your regular login password.  The default ftp password is your password from your original signup.  A proper password should contain one or more of each of the following: upper and lowercase letters, number, symbol and be at least 7 characters in length.  Even if you do not use ftp you should update your password since an easily guessed ftp password can potentially be used by hackers to gain access to a site.

4)  Support Request Followup

A email message and reminder has been added to remind merchants to respond to support requests that are in the awaiting feedback status.  To resolve potential issues/questions many times we need further feedback from the person posting the question.
