Using the new Search

To activate the search go to the view/edit screen and click on the Search link at the top right side of the page as shown in figure 1 below.

When you click on the Search link a search area will appear. Figure 2 shows the search screen.

The search box is customized for each screen and will show a dropdown menu with all of the different fields that you can search on.  Select the field to search on from the drop down menu and then enter the text condition. Note that for text columns you can search for columns that match your input, or columns that don’t match etc, this is done from the type dropdown where you can choose Like or Not Like.

Figure 3 shows a search for all items where waive shipping is set to yes.

You can also add additional fields to search on.  Click on the “Add new search condition” link as shown in figure 4 to add another condition to your search.

To remove a search condition click on the remove link next to the search condition you would like to remove.   See Figure 5 below.

Figure 6 shows search conditions removed when remove link is clicked.

Figure 7 shows a search for items with Waive shipping set to yes and the item SKU equal to “test“.  Note that the radio button for match all conditions is selected so both the conditions must be matched.

To match on any of the conditions select the radio button for “Match at least one condition” as indicated in Figure 8 below.
